Do you have a child who is entering second or third grade, and has a reading disability? The Flower Mound Public Library offers a program to help students who meet these two criteria increase their willingness to read. Sit! Stay!! READ!!! matches qualifying students with volunteer dog owners who, along with their dogs, have been certified to participate in animal-assisted activities. Flower Mound Labor Day Holiday Hours and Trash Pick-Up Schedule
All Flower Mound Town offices, the Municipal Court, the Public Library, and the Animal Adoption Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. The Community Activity Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Republic Services’ trash pickup schedule will be delayed one day during the week of Sept. 6, with collections being completed on Saturday. Police and Fire Emergency Services remain in operation during all holidays.
